Where does the Snow Leopard Live?

We seem to find the snow leopard to live in cold and dry places where it is hard for the snow leopard, itself to have predators. Usually the elevation of the cat's home is 3,000-4,500 above sea level, making vegetation limited, including trees and shrubs. These animals prefer to live in rocky cliifs, rocky outcrops, and ravines. In the world we find them in Central Asia, and the countries of Afghanistan, Bhutan, China, India, Kazakhstan, Krgystan, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikstan, and Uzbekistan.

What does The Snow Leopard Eat?

The main reason the snow leopard is endangered is because 58% of the cat's diet is domestic animals, and that is when the line is drawn by humans and snow leopards. This cat's diet usually consists of sheep, goats, yak, asses, pikas, marmots, hares, musk deer, birds, and domestic live stock. Their hunting tactics is basically either ambushing or stalking their pray which takes time, and patience with great secretivity. All part in the day of a snow leopard.
